Great steak, huge sides, excellent soup and very nice servers.

Needs work on restroom infrastructure in women's bathroom. Seriously!

My son and I wrapped up our epic weekend in the Windy City with a delicious steak dinner! Our server and the entire staff were friendly, attentive and the whole place is run efficiently without ever making anyone feel rushed. Steak presentation table side was a bonus. Steaks were perfectly cooked and the whole experience was the cherry on top or in this case, the bada bing cherry in my Manhattan!

From the very beginning, the entire team made us feel confident that our wedding was in the best hands, and they exceeded every expectation. A special thank you to Carlos, Jessica, Mary Kate, and Luke. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference. Mary Kate and Carlos were absolutely incredible—they stayed on top of every detail throughout the day, anticipated anything that might come up in real time, and made sure everything ran seamlessly.

Gibson's is always consistent. A go-to neighborhood staple where you know you won't be disappointed.

Fun & busy bar area. Loved my cosmopolitan. Ribeye was well done and huge. Recommend splitting entrees and sides. Fun happening spot.

Chicago, first things first: ask to sit in Cortez’s section! His service was top notch! Every recommendation was a hit. We had the house salads, a dozen east coast oysters, 22 oz. Chicago Cut Steak cooked well (chef’s kiss), Mashed Potatoes w/ gravy, lump crab cake, Strawberry 75, Chocolate Martini, and turtle ice cream cake for dessert! I’m honored to have been serviced by him and will definitely be back in hopes of him being at work.

This review is not for Chicagoans. They already know how great this steak house is but if you're visiting Chicago from out of town or out of country, this place is the pulse of Chicago. I got there at 5pm for a reservation on a Sunday night. Bar is busy. I mean full. Piano man is playing a song. Martinis are shaken. Women are dressed like its Staurday night. The mood is big city fun. Security is called on an unruly customer and they professionally and quietly walked him out. I love people watching otherwise you wouldnt even know security was there. Young couples. Old couples.

Great food with great service in a beautiful location. Our server was brilliant and couldn’t help us enough during our business lunch. The filet salad was Devine and I look forward to visiting again for dinner.

There is no wonder there is a staircase full of celebrity pictures who have visited Gibsons. A lively but semi-casual atmosphere where the experience was just as great as their menu and especially their steak cuts. There were three bucket list items for my first trip to the windy city. One was to enjoy a great steak and that box was enthusiastically ticked. Our waiter Angel made this such a memorable expense with his insights, suggestions and friendliness.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch and the atmosphere was classic and inviting. The steaks were cooked perfectly—so tender you could cut them with a fork, and the flavor was incredible. Every bite was worth it. The sides and drinks were just as good, making it one of the best steakhouse experiences we've had. If you're looking for an exceptional meal in Chicago, Gibsons is a must-visit. We can't wait to come back!
