Highest-Rated Chicago Area Dermatologists (Google ratings, October 2026)
A Google rating measures what patients chose to write about a practice on Google. It does not measure clinical skill or the result of any treatment, and this page does not present it as though it did.
The order below follows the rating snapshot on each listing and then the number of reviews behind it. A rating drawn from many reviews and one drawn from a handful are not the same measurement, so the review count sits beside every rating.

How to read this page
The order is produced by a rule with no membership term in it: the rating snapshot first, then the review count, then the business name. A Premier member can and does place below a listing that pays this directory nothing.
Nothing on this page describes what any treatment will do for any individual. A rating reflects what reviewers wrote about a visit, not a clinical result, and treatment decisions belong with a licensed clinician.
The reviews on each listing are the reviewers’ own words. Where a reviewer describes how a condition or a treatment went for them, that is one person’s account, not a claim by this directory.
Every figure here is a snapshot of a public Google Business Profile on the date shown beside it. Google ratings move, so the live figure may differ from the one on this page.
Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or endorse any business listed. All review counts and ratings are arithmetic records of publicly posted Google customer reviews.
How to choose a dermatologist
A rating says how reviewers felt about a visit, not whether a practice or a treatment is right for you. Questions to ask before you book:
Who you will see
Ask whether your visit will be with a dermatologist, a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner, and whether the physician is board certified in dermatology. The American Board of Dermatology’s website has a search tool that shows whether a doctor is certified by that board, and in Illinois a clinician’s license can be checked on the website of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Insurance and referrals
Ask whether the practice is in network for your insurance plan, and whether your plan needs a referral from a primary care physician before you are seen.
Medical or cosmetic
Ask whether a service you want would be billed to insurance as medical care or paid by you as a cosmetic treatment, and ask for the price of any cosmetic treatment before you book it.
Each listing gives the practice’s address and contact details.
