Highest-Rated Chicago Area HVAC Companies (Google ratings, October 2026)

This page lists the 9 HVAC companies in the Chicagoland Reviews directory carrying a Google rating snapshot of 4.0 or higher, ordered by that rating and then by the number of Google reviews behind it. Ratings were read from each business’s Google Business Profile on 8 October 2026. Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or rate the businesses it lists, and it does not verify the reviews Google publishes about them. Premier membership is a paid placement on this site, and it does not affect the order on this page.

The order below is arithmetic, not judgement: it follows the Google rating snapshot on each listing and, where ratings tie, the number of reviews standing behind them.

A rating drawn from many reviews and one drawn from a handful are not the same measurement, so the review count sits beside every rating. A rating also cannot say whether a company installs or services the kind of equipment in your home, so check that before you book.

How to read this page

The order is produced by a rule with no membership term in it: the rating snapshot first, then the review count, then the business name. A Premier member can and does place below a listing that pays this directory nothing.

Every figure here is a snapshot of a public Google Business Profile on the date shown beside it. Google ratings move, so the live figure may differ from the one on this page.

Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or endorse any business listed. All review counts and ratings are arithmetic records of publicly posted Google customer reviews.

How to choose an HVAC company

The ratings above say how reviewers felt about a visit, not which company suits your home or your system. Questions to ask before you book:

Repair or replacement

If a technician recommends replacing a furnace, an air conditioner or a heat pump, ask why, ask what a repair would cost instead, and get the recommendation in writing. A second opinion is reasonable before a large purchase.

The estimate and the warranty

Ask for a written estimate that names the equipment by brand and model and lists the work included. Ask what the manufacturer’s warranty covers, what the company covers on labor, and whether the manufacturer’s warranty has to be registered.

Certification and insurance

Federal rules require technicians who service equipment that could release certain refrigerants to be certified, so ask whether the technician who will work on your system holds that certification. Ask too whether the company is insured and holds any license or registration your town requires.
