Best-Rated Business Attorneys in the Chicago Area
A Google rating measures what clients chose to write about a firm on Google. It does not measure legal skill or the result in any matter or transaction, and this page does not present it as though it did.
The firms below are spread across the city and the suburbs, so check the office address on each listing. A listing with no Google rating on record is named below the list rather than ranked in it. Nothing on this page states a fee or an outcome in any matter, whether or not a firm publishes one of its own.

How to read this page
The order is produced by a rule with no membership term in it: the rating snapshot first, then the review count, then the business name. Premier placement does not change the order on this page.
Choosing a lawyer is not a task a rating snapshot can complete, and nothing on this page is legal advice. Practicing Illinois lawyers register each year with the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois, whose public Lawyer Search shows whether a lawyer is currently authorized to practice and any past discipline.
Every figure here is a snapshot of a public Google Business Profile on the date shown beside it. Google ratings move, so the live figure may differ from the one on this page.
How do I choose a business attorney?
Ask whether the firm regularly handles the kind of work your business needs, how it charges, and which lawyer will be responsible for your matter day to day. Ask, too, whether an initial consultation is free. A rating cannot tell you whether a firm is right for your business. Three things to ask any firm before you hire it:
The kind of work you need
Business law covers many kinds of work, from forming a company and drafting contracts to buying or selling a business and resolving disputes in court. Ask whether the firm regularly handles work like yours, for businesses of your size.
How the firm charges
Ask for the engagement letter or fee agreement in writing, and read it before you sign. Ask whether the firm bills by the hour, charges a flat fee for defined work or offers an ongoing arrangement, and whether an initial consultation is free.
Who handles your matter
Ask which lawyer will be responsible for your matter day to day, who else at the firm will work on it, how you will be kept informed, and how quickly the firm returns calls and messages.
Each listing gives the firm’s office address and contact details.
