Best-Rated Cardiologists in the Chicago Area
A Google rating measures what patients chose to write about a physician or a practice on Google. It does not measure clinical skill or the result of any treatment, and this page does not present it as though it did.
Some listings below are individual cardiologists and others are practices, each with its own Google profile, so a physician and the practice they work in can both appear. The order follows the rating snapshot on each listing and then the number of reviews behind it, and the review count sits beside every rating.

How to read this page
The order is produced by a rule with no membership term in it: the rating snapshot first, then the review count, then the business name. Premier placement does not change the order on this page.
Nothing on this page describes what any test, procedure or treatment will do for any individual. A rating reflects what reviewers wrote about a visit, not a clinical result, and treatment decisions belong with a licensed clinician.
The reviews on each listing are the reviewers’ own words. Where a reviewer describes how a condition or a procedure went for them, that is one person’s account, not a claim by this directory.
Every figure here is a snapshot of a public Google Business Profile on the date shown beside it. Google ratings move, so the live figure may differ from the one on this page.
Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or endorse any business listed. All review counts and ratings are arithmetic records of publicly posted Google customer reviews.
How do I choose a cardiologist?
Ask who you will see, whether the cardiologist is board certified, whether the practice is in network for your plan, and whether it provides the test or procedure your doctor has asked for. A rating says how reviewers felt about a visit, not whether a physician or a treatment is right for you. Questions to ask before you book:
Who you will see
Ask whether your visit will be with the cardiologist, a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner, and whether the cardiologist is board certified, and by which board. The American Board of Medical Specialties points patients to its Certification Matters website to check whether a doctor is board certified, and in Illinois a physician’s license can be checked with the License Look Up on the website of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
The test or procedure you need
If your doctor has referred you for a particular test or procedure, ask whether the practice provides it, which physician would perform it, and where it would take place.
Insurance and referrals
Ask whether the practice is in network for your insurance plan, whether your plan needs a referral or prior approval before you are seen, and what a test or procedure would cost you.
Each listing gives the practice’s address and contact details.
