Best-Rated Real Estate Agencies in the Chicago Area

This page lists the 8 real estate agencies in the Chicagoland Reviews directory with a Google rating snapshot of 4.0 or higher. They are ordered by that rating and then by the number of Google reviews behind it. Ratings were read from each business’s Google Business Profile on dates between 8 October 2026 and 28 October 2026. Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or rate the businesses it lists, and it does not verify the reviews Google publishes about them. Premier membership is a paid placement on this site, and it does not affect the order on this page.

A Google rating measures what clients chose to write about an agency on Google. It does not measure a sale price, how long a home stayed on the market or the result of any purchase or sale, and this page does not present it as though it did.

The agencies below are spread across the city and the suburbs, so check the office address on each listing. An agency whose rating snapshot sits below the threshold is named below the list rather than ranked in it. Nothing on this page states a fee or a commission, whether or not an agency publishes one of its own.

How to read this page

The order is produced by a rule with no membership term in it: the rating snapshot first, then the review count, then the business name. Premier placement does not change the order on this page. Here a Premier member places below a listing that pays this directory nothing.

Nothing on this page is legal or financial advice, and a rating snapshot cannot tell you which agency is right for a particular purchase, sale or lease.

Every figure here is a snapshot of a public Google Business Profile on the date shown beside it. Google ratings move, so the live figure may differ from the one on this page.

Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or endorse any business listed. All review counts and ratings are arithmetic records of publicly posted Google customer reviews.

How do I choose a real estate agency?

Check the broker’s Illinois license, read the written brokerage agreement before you sign it, and ask which broker will represent you day to day. The ratings above say how reviewers felt about working with an agency, not which agency suits your purchase, sale or lease. Questions to ask before you sign:

The license

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation licenses real estate brokers and managing brokers under the Real Estate License Act of 2000. Ask for the broker’s license number, and check it with the License Look Up on the Department’s website.

The written agreement

Illinois law requires the sponsoring broker who represents you in buying, selling or leasing to set out the terms of that relationship in a written brokerage agreement. Read it before you sign, and ask how long it lasts, how it can be ended and how the broker will be paid.

Who represents you

The agreement designates the licensees who will act as your agents. Ask which of them you will work with day to day, whether they regularly handle homes like yours in the neighborhoods you are considering, and how quickly they return calls and messages.
