Best-Rated Pediatricians in the Chicago Area
A Google rating measures what parents and caregivers chose to write about a physician or a practice on Google. It does not measure clinical skill or the result of any care, and this page does not present it as though it did.
Some listings below are individual pediatricians and others are practices, each with its own Google profile, so a pediatrician and the practice they work in can both appear. The order follows the rating snapshot on each listing and then the number of reviews behind it, and the review count sits beside every rating.

How to read this page
The order is produced by a rule with no membership term in it: the rating snapshot first, then the review count, then the business name. Premier placement does not change the order on this page.
Nothing on this page describes what any care or treatment will do for any child. A rating reflects what reviewers wrote about a visit, not a clinical result, and treatment decisions belong with a licensed clinician.
The reviews on each listing are the reviewers’ own words. Where a reviewer describes how a child’s illness or care went, that is one person’s account, not a claim by this directory.
Every figure here is a snapshot of a public Google Business Profile on the date shown beside it. Google ratings move, so the live figure may differ from the one on this page.
Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or endorse any business listed. All review counts and ratings are arithmetic records of publicly posted Google customer reviews.
How do I choose a pediatrician?
Ask whether the practice is taking new patients, who your child will see, whether the pediatrician is board certified, whether the practice is in network for your plan, and how it handles a sick child after hours. A rating says how reviewers felt about a visit, not whether a pediatrician is right for your family. Questions to ask before you book:
Who your child will see
Ask whether visits will be with the pediatrician, a nurse practitioner or another clinician, and whether the pediatrician is board certified, and by which board. The American Board of Pediatrics’ website lets you check whether a pediatrician is certified by that board, the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics also certifies physicians in general pediatrics, and in Illinois a physician’s license can be checked with the license lookup on the website of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
New patients and insurance
Ask whether the practice is accepting new patients, whether it is in network for your insurance plan, and, if you are expecting, whether it can see your baby after birth and how to arrange that.
Sick visits and after hours
Ask how soon a sick child can be seen, whether the practice keeps separate times or rooms for sick and well visits, and who answers the phone at night and on weekends.
Each listing gives the practice’s address and contact details.
