Best-Rated OB-GYNs in the Chicago Area

This page lists the 7 obstetricians, gynecologists and OB-GYN practices in the Chicagoland Reviews directory with a Google rating snapshot of 4.0 or higher. They are ordered by that rating and then by the number of Google reviews behind it. Ratings were read from each business’s Google Business Profile on dates between 8 October 2026 and 28 October 2026. Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or rate the businesses it lists, and it does not verify the reviews Google publishes about them. Premier membership is a paid placement on this site, and it does not affect the order on this page.

A Google rating measures what patients chose to write about a physician or a practice on Google. It does not measure clinical skill or the result of any care, and this page does not present it as though it did.

Some listings below are individual physicians and others are group practices, each with its own Google profile, so a physician and the practice they work in can both appear. The order follows the rating snapshot on each listing and then the number of reviews behind it, and the review count sits beside every rating.

How to read this page

The order is produced by a rule with no membership term in it: the rating snapshot first, then the review count, then the business name. Premier placement does not change the order on this page.

Nothing on this page describes what any care, procedure or treatment will do for any individual. A rating reflects what reviewers wrote about a visit, not a clinical result, and treatment decisions belong with a licensed clinician.

The reviews on each listing are the reviewers’ own words. Where a reviewer describes how a pregnancy, a birth or a procedure went for them, that is one person’s account, not a claim by this directory.

Every figure here is a snapshot of a public Google Business Profile on the date shown beside it. Google ratings move, so the live figure may differ from the one on this page.

Chicagoland Reviews does not vet or endorse any business listed. All review counts and ratings are arithmetic records of publicly posted Google customer reviews.

How do I choose an OB-GYN?

Ask who you will see, whether the physician is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, whether the practice is in network for your plan, and, if you are pregnant, where you would deliver. A rating says how reviewers felt about a visit, not whether a physician or a treatment is right for you. Questions to ask before you book:

Who you will see

Ask whether your visits will be with the physician, a nurse practitioner or a nurse midwife, and whether the physician is board certified, and by which board. The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s website lets you check whether a physician is certified by that board, and in Illinois a physician’s license can be checked with the license lookup on the website of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Pregnancy and delivery

If you are pregnant or planning to be, ask whether the practice provides obstetric care or gynecology only, at which hospital its physicians deliver, and who would be on call if your own physician is not available.

Insurance and services

Ask whether the practice is in network for your insurance plan, whether it provides the screening or procedure your doctor has recommended, and where that would take place. Some practices offer services beyond obstetric and gynecologic care, so ask how any such service would be billed.
