Decided to try this place after many recommendations. We ordered pizza for my family, who are primarily vegetarian. They do a great job with providing ample toppings on the pizza when compared to almost all other pizza places I have been to! The caramelized crust looks burnt, but it’s definitely not and tastes good. If you are conscious of the thickness or having too much dough, you could do half dough pizza. There is a limit number of dine in seating options. The bill was hand calculated, but they do take credit cards and charge a fee for that.

Great tasting deep dish pizza. Great stop for a pregame meal before the Allstate arena.
I've been going to Burt's since about 2005 when Burt and Sharon were running the show. We moved from IL in 2016, about a year after they closed the restaurant. We were crushed but realized that they did what they did so Burt could relax a little before the inevitable. When we read that Sharon sold the business to a two man team, we were interested in how they were going to pull it off, to say the least. When I read that they located the identical pizza oven that Burt used all those years, and finally made the tiny kitchen a two oven operation, I knew they meant business. The pizza is a work of art. Caramelized crust with ridiculously fresh veggies and such flavorful sausage. The sauce is incredible, as well. These guys have been carrying the torch for almost 10 years and the consistency of what they make would definitely do Burt proud. I was in Chicago for a work trip about a week ago and I stopped by for a 10" sausage, tri-color pepper, and onion. It was incredible.
Another one of the great pizza restaurants in the Chicagoland area. A must try. Service was prompt and staff were attentive. Thank for a wonderful meal and experience.
We stopped at Burt's after seeing an episode of it on TV. We are visiting from Oregon and this was one of our first stops for deep dish pizza. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the pizza was absolutely the best I have ever had.
You're very funny little Pizzeria that has dining indoors and Outdoors. If the weather were better I would have eaten outside
Burt’s Place is easily one of my all-time favorite pizzas ever! My girlfriend normally isn’t a fan of deep dish or pan-style pizza, but she absolutely loved it. The caramelized crust, sausage, pepperoni, giardiniera, and melted cheese were incredible. The entire staff was amazing too—shoutout to Danielle and Carol for being so kind and welcoming! Definitely a must-try!
Good service The vibe isn't really my jam Located in a good spot
