Best martini I've ever had. Great food, great staff.

First time here, and it did not disappoint one bit! This was recommended to us by staff members at our hotel when we asked for a restaurant choice for our anniversary dinner. Gene & Georgetti had both a romantic and nostalgic vibe, which we absolutely loved. It really took us back to the days of Frank Sinatra and Lucille Ball, which was a cool convincing fact for us to begin with. So much history there! Came with friends and sat at the bar since it was the quickest seating and we had an amazing time! The food was SO good! There was not one single thing even slightly off. Every one of the workers were so kind, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great! I will 100% be coming back here !!

The carbonara was soooo good. The drinks were prefect and everything i experienced there was awesome. I would come back for sure

Great steak, great location

I have been wanting to eat here for 30 years. Finally was able to come for my honeymoon. It was everything that I hoped.

A Chicago institution since 1941. This Italian Steakhouse has it all. Excellent food. From Shrimp de Jonhe to prime cuts of beef and old world service. Lively bar scene as well!

Service was phenomenal! Filet was perfectly cooked. Tortellini in Brodo was fun to see on a menu. The sides were outrageously large. Definitely a lot of shareable dishes would be the best way to go. Fun atmosphere. Old school.

Delicious as I had remembered. The NY strip was an excellent piece of meat and perfectly prepared. The gnocchi is sublime—light as a feather—I wish I knew the secret. It’s bloody expensive but for a special occasion I have no regrets.

I had an amazing experience here! The service of the entire staff is top notch! I had the beef ravioli in bolognese, which was excellent. Started with a ceasar salad which did not disappoint. They have a great wine selection. I highly suggest getting an espresso martini!
