Most patrons seemed to be on lunch breaks, but our server managed to make us feel like the only ones there. They were knowledgeable and prompt, though perhaps a touch too eager to clear plates. A good choice for a quiet afternoon meal.

They have normal tables, great for walk-in they also have a handful of zashiki rooms with horigotatsu for a more private elevated experience for an extra charge. Sushi was delicious, good miso soup, the green tea was fine. I've had better, but this was fine. Not cheap, but high quality.

Our new favorite restaurant! Amazing ambiance with the beautiful decor and music. The food was delicious and fresh! I had the chicken udon soup which was steamy with thick noodles and tender chicken pieces. My bf had a combination plate with tempura, chicken teriyaki and sashimi. The owner makes the pickles and they are amazing! Will be back very soon!.

They treat me like family when i come here, very hospitable. The freshest sushi in Chicago. Chef Robert has been there for many years and he is an absolute master at making sushi. Their chicken teriyaki dinner is just the best I have ever had. So flavorful and really juicy. The miso soup is not too fishy like every other place you go to, which I really like. The salad is delicious. Everything is just so good here !.

We ordered takeout for 4 and it was great! I felt like the prices were more fair than some other places I've been recently. The food was all delicious! The tempura was crispy and perfect and everyone loved it. I had some beef, and it was expertly marinated and tasted delicious. I would like to dine here because the restaurant looks fun and authentic.
