Picture doesn’t do it justice of course!! Amazing place, fantastic pizza. A well earned reputation

Wow. Wow. I see why locals rave about this place. I had a salad and a personal pepperoni that I struggled to finish. The pie was covered in pepperoni discs in various states of crispness, none of them burnt. The caramelized edges were such a treat and the crust was light and buttery. I am so glad I did not get a small or I would have been tapped out. And I washed it all down with a well-balanced Diet Pepsi. All that for under $30. The sauce was well balanced in sweetness with a slight acidity. It was well worth the Lyft round trip from my Downtown hotel. Please skip the big chains in the tourist areas and give these folks a try!

The people and the food were absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to go back! ❤️

If you're tired of standard deep dish, Pequod's in Chicago is in a completely different league. Instead of the typical pie crust, they bake theirs in a cast-iron pan with cheese spread all the way to the rim. As it cooks, that cheese gets deeply caramelized, crisp, and dark around the edges. That crunch on the crust is out of this world—rich, slightly smoky, and easily the best part of the whole pie. The center stays soft and airy, loaded with savory sauce and quality toppings. It’s a totally unique take on pan pizza that ruined regular crusts for me. Worth every second of the wait!

felt like a hole in the wall pizza spot. If you liked pizza hut's pan pizzas growing up you'll like pequod's pizza. Love their crust here.

Our friend has been telling us that this place is the best pizza in the country…deep dish. We headed to Chicago for the bears game and gave it a shot. It was really good, worth the wait. Highly recommend making a reservation.

I actually wanted to eat here but I was not aware of needing a reservation here. The earliest available table is 2hrs away, lol. But based on the crowd that day, and line standing outside, I guess it is one of the best places to eat. So if you visit Chicago, make sure to make a reservation in advance and check this place out.
