The best sushi I've had. No joke. I started with a hangry family doing the whole "No, I don't feel like having X" thing, saw the stop for Chinatown coming in a hurry, and dragged them the short walk from the Red Line station to Sushi Plus. By divine providence, we were seated right away during a holiday lunch rush. As soon as the family saw what was on the belts, there were smiles, relief, and the beginnings of a big stack of plates. Ordering was easy. The selection had something for everybody. And they even had boxes with no fuss for the few leftovers we took with us. As for a specific recommendation? The Red Dragon Maki had me in stunned silence as I ate the first roll. My wife was concerned that I was disappointed. But no, it was so good that I let everything fade away around me so I could take the time to enjoy the flavor and remember it. It was a great family dining experience. And it was also the best meal I had during my time in Chicago.
The restaurant has plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. The sushi was okay, but it wasn't anything special. Considering the quality, I felt the prices were a bit too high. The restrooms weren't filthy, but they could definitely have been cleaner. Overall, it was an average experience, but I expected more for the price.
We absolutely love this place and visit it regularly. I always order the ramen, and the food is consistently delicious. We usually spend around $80 for two people with tip, and it’s always worth it. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always in a great mood, which makes the experience even better. We have been here many times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!.
We had a great time, it was my first time eating at a rotary sushi bar & I had so much fun looking at all the delicious sushi displays. We ordered the Fish Roll Sushi Box & it came with complimentary miso soup, salad & a drink. Great service & ambience, would love to visit again!.
Haven't been to a Rotary bar in years and this one did not disappoint. Salmon tasted fresh. White tuna was spot on point. Seaweed salad was eehhhh. All.the rolls were awesome. Great place to take a date as well. We ate for fairly cheap.
It’s not all you can eat But they have creative and inventive rolls and food. Nigiri was good quality and tasted good w the flavoring. Price was average with mid range sushi prices. The rotary is fun and you pick the color plate and you pay according to the color. Ginger in 1 oz containers are free. Clean, modern, hip decor. Lots of K-pop music and fun beats with hip hop too. Good dessert! Tayaki, Daifuku (mochi w red bean inside), crème brûlée, cheesecake, and the best thing ever that ever came from Hawaii! Dole Whip which is like soft Italian ice (not dairy ice cream) in pineapple and strawberry flavors. It is soooo good and comes in a cone for $2.59 each. Don’t miss it bc unless you buy it for $6 at a hard to find grocery store or go to Hawaii, you can eat it here. Salad is only $3 w great ginger sauce on the side.
